If I wrote a letter,
I would tell the truth.
I would make my friends
Understand what I am going through.
If I wrote a letter,
I would write about all of the things
I love about being their friend.
If I wrote a letter,
I would get even.
Not because I tried to,
Just because that’s how I am.
My friends would be mad,
And things would be over.
I don’t think
I am allowed
To ruin friendships
Just because
I am
Hurt.
