Synthestisia
When I hear my name, I look for the voice like a needle in a haystack,
As I push through the hay, I find the needle
And my face lights up as fireflies do at night.
We chat for what seems to be an eternity,
Talking about things that we’d only understand,
Laughing out loud like we’re the last people on Earth.
I glanced up at the clock, realizing that I’m going to be late to class,
We perform our perfect handshake like nothing anyone’s seen before,
And with the speed of The Flash, I dash to my class.
As I sat down in my class, the wheels in my head began to turn,
We talked for only a couple of minutes, that’s when I figured out the puzzle,
Time flies when you’re having fun and are happy.
