What I’ve gone through
The pain
The struggle
I wish I could tell you
But you can’t know the truth
Because I have to
Shelter it
I wish you understood
My feelings
But you don’t because
You and me are very different
I wish you could know
My true thoughts and feelings
But you can’t
Apparently it’s better that way
