The Boy
Step right up ladies and gentlemen
Step right up to see the Thing in the cage
It may look like a boy but don’t judge a book by its cover
It, ladies and gentleman,
Does not need this cage
The cage is for its protection so you all don’t touch it
No it, you see, is already trapped,
Trapped in its own mind
And It cannot move outside the circumference of it’s imaginary circle
See how it never looks out from the bars of its cage
it never wonders what's outside of the circle
Between you and me sir, I don't think it knows there is an outside to the circle
Now, you may ask yourself,
What’s so interesting about this Thing
I’ll tell you!
I don’t know!
But I get paid to advertise it
And you all are here so there must be something i'm not understanding
One if my employers built the cage to make it free
Now I don't think a cage is freedom but that must be the reason she’s the boss
Another hired me to give it peace and quiet
Now i'm a pretty loud person so to hire me for peace and quiet seems an assbackwards idea but, i'm sure she knows what she’s doing
Another, invited all of you to give it some privacy
Now feeble minds such as our might think that that doesn't make much sense but she is more knowledgeable than you or I
Now like I says i'm just here to protect it
I’m doing what's best for it!
What’s best for it…
it…
It…
him
