Transporter from insanity
My escape from insanity,
reliving my urges and dires.
Words that strum me to sanity,
developing new desires.
Meanings only understood when broken,
ignorance applied.
Stressors, Reverand it as a token.
Ignorance denied.
Imagery a magnet for happiness,
scenes full of distractions.
Characters unique, full of scrappiness,
holding enlightening reactions.
Monologues long and humorous,
Invoking moments of laughter
Comebacks, numerous;
Witty banter.
Tales of affection,
Two lovers who find attraction.
Increasing perfection
Crumbles from diffraction,
(Hoping) to heal back in connection.
Final two words,
Never said but hinted upon.
Last drips of the world's.
Clashed and ended into one.
Final two words the authors send,
The end.

when we think of escaping insanity, some may say that i can only happen through a distraction. Most think, using drugs is the solution, hooking up, and worse, death. But when i think of ways to distract myself from this crazy, hectic world; I think of literature.
Pages, full of words. Those words transport me to a whole new universe, they fly me to this happy, serene setting. It's like I'm watching a movie, but I get to decide how the characters will look like; how they talk and how there facial expressions are like. I get to see the characters, privately, and laugh, cry, and even scream at some parts. Some think I may sound crazy, but it's the sane ones that find true escape in times of need.
What I meant for this poem to show, is that we can find escape in things that are positive, and even, come out to be more content. I want to explain that escape with a positive outlet, is really liberating.
