Off For A Hike

His bag is packed,
his lunch is made up.
Thermos and maps,
and his favorite cup.
Warm woolen socks,
to keep out the cold.
A Thermal Fleece,
that's more precious than gold.
His wallet and Keys,
In a very safe place.
And a pair of Binoculars,
to observe the wonderful space.
A small first aid kit,
in case of issue.
If he needs to sneeze,
a small pack of tissues.
He doesn't need a car,
a boat or a bike.
Just a tough pair of boots,
And he'll be off on his hike.
