I love your voice,
your soft brown hair.
I love your eyes
and love your stare.

I love your laugh,
your cocky smirk,
your stupid jokes.
You precious jerk,

you know I do.
I want my hands
all through your hair
each treasured strand.

I’m wrapped around
your finger still.
Am I yet yours?
Your love does kill

the things I hold
so close to me
and yet you’re the
best jerk I see.

i Love this poem!  I fell for a guy that was my precious jerk. So this poem sums up how i feel about him still. Awesome!

Hahaha This is great! So many jerks out there! Can't live with them, but then again it's hard to live without! This is really good, i'm pretty new to TeenInk but it's so cool how many amazing poets are on here, including you!

I can relate so much to this, loved how you could rhyme without making the rhymes sounding forced. Absolutely amazing, while there's really no imagery or emotion, I totally get what's going on, I'm put into the narrators shoes and feel exactly as if they're words. They sound like they could be spoken so naturally, amazing, wonderful. Loved it so much.
