The “Odyssey” of Nick Carraway
A man of simple ways.
A man of stocks and bonds
Thrown into the world unknown to him.
Slightly smitten, Slightly enchanted, Fully disgusted
This world of moral un-uniformity
No true Moral attention
Forever was always
His cousin, a college peer, a great man;
Thrown into inevitable drama? Or the Catalyst of it all?
The only one that knows the true and partly full story.
Each character lead slightly on.
Could he have fixed it all?
Alas the ending shows that love will not prevail
That comfort was key.
Left after all the drama subsides.
Left in his simple ways of his life
Complicated forever.
His cousin and college peer gone
A great loss of a great man and moral enemy.
Love not truly love. The last open door
Closed for all eternity.
What shall happen to this great protagonist now that all has been lost
The “Odyssey” incomplete.
