intentions
My nose ring got squished,
pressed against his chest,
Synchronize our breathing and
falling short of breath.
Top me off with gentle cravings and
Kind eye salty tears.
So what are my intentions?
To find a love that feels like grandma’s backyard.
That slips down my throat like food pantry Nesquik,
holds me like the buckles of a bumper car,
and treats me like
something worth loving.
