Split Between Pages
Never ask a reader

Split between each thought
Of the characters that taught me that
I’m more than what I'm not
I am more than just one word
That lives within a spine
More than one chapter in a novel
Or a section of a line
I am whole because of all of it
Even the messy parts of me
But the friends who finally taught me that
Aren’t the kind that you can see…
