She Can't Stop Thinking
She can't stop thinking,
about all the times she was wrong.
She knows it is all just nothing,
but that is where her mind has gone.
She doesn't want to be scared
of being out in public,
She even tries not to care,
but it all makes her feel sick.
It's not like her to be this worried,
She even usually likes going places.
But now she leaves in a hurry,
Because she is scared of seeing new faces.
She can't make new friends,
because she gets too nervous around new people.
She tries to stay until the end,
but she is too scared they are all evil.
She even turns to God,
because she knows He is listening,
and even though she will still be flawed,
He helps her brain less scribbling.
I wrote this ballad about struggles with anxiety.
