My Wite-Out

My wite-out is a deceiving thing.
A bottle filled with white liquid
Used to conceal every mistake or sting
That with the writing hadn’t fitted.
It is just a tiny bottle of stuff
And it isn’t important, you say.
Well, that tiny bottle of stuff
Hides every mistake we make.
Stop trying to be a perfectionist, wite-out.
(Which is what I would say if it could talk).
Everything has its mistakes, no doubt
And with its mistakes it is still enough.
