Chillin' on the Coast
I felt the sand in between my toes,
And I smelt the salt in the air.
In that moment, the world just froze,
As I sat in my folding chair.
The calm waves brushed upon the shore,
And the sun glimmered on the ocean.
I watched the seagulls soar,
As the children caused commotion.
I saw a surfer ride a wave,
And I watched people parasail.
I wondered how they were so brave,
And I questioned how they didn’t fail.
I admired the beautiful sand creations,
And I found shells, crabs, and seaweed.
Then, I realized the beach is for all generations,
Because fun for every age is guaranteed.
