I Wash My Hair

When I’m feeling bad I wash my hair
Bad, sad, bad, It’s really all the same since
I’ve washed my hair every night of this week.
When I cry I stand under the tap
Just to let it rain down on my face
Just so it can cover the inevitable
Just so it can hide the tears.
When I shake I do it softly
Subtle, soft, subtle what?
When I shake I do it softly so no one can see
No one can ask.
When I’m feeling mad I wash my hair
Bad, sad, mad what its all the same really
Since I washed my hair every night this week.
