Inside my brain there are mazes
Some even I have yet to complete

Inside my heart there are phases
But I never seem to make ends meet

My nerves are all tangled up
And my lungs have collapsed
Bodies all around me
But in my soul it’s all just one big time lapse

Inside my limbs there is motion
Though they always seem to be out of line

Inside my eyes, I see commotion
And we all run short on time

My nerves are all tangled up
And my lungs have collapsed
Bodies all around me
But in my soul it’s all just one big time lapse

My life is all an exhibit
And my body is put up for display

Inside my shell there is greatness
Never glimpsing the light of the day

I rated it a 5 star poem. It's obvious why. :)
