Glasses
You're my glasses, you help me see things clear
You help me see things that are far away or very near
You seem to steer me in the right direction
The views with you seem almost perfection
I thought I have seen it all and had everything aligned
I got tired and bored of you so I left you behind
During this time I felt as if I were blind
The sites that were once beautiful were blurry and no longer defined
I came to a realization on how important you are to me
I will go no more days not being able to see

I was inspired to write this poem because I met someone that I realized I cannot live without.
