Just give me a tall Chai tea before I die,
Then I hear 'How may I help you' I just got lost in me'oh my,
I guess its no lie that I really want some Chai,
So after I pay my day away,
I just find a spot where I leave my brain at bay,
Taking in sips of joy right through my lips,
Taking out inferences and letting my couscous slip,
My thoughts take me back to thoughts that seem lost,
As the texture of the tea reminds me of my heart once so soft,
Flavors race though my buds as the current time could only erase,
The only thing that keeps time now is my heartbeats pace,
The only thing that stimulates my senses is the tastes,
The only reaction to actions could barley show in my face,
The weather forecast for the moment'a brain storm,
And I don't pray for sunny weather because if I stopped myself it wouldn't be the norm,
Through drops I see lots of memoires fading in the coldest winter,
But no heartbreak or beats of 808's I can hear,
Or no shedding a tear and letting it smear against my face here,
Just simple chai shipping and reminiscing,
And being excited from current time I won't be missing,
Because from pain is pleasure and its opposite lasts for an eternity,
So with chai and me'I find serenity and tranquility.

I like drinking Chai lattes. I was at the local coffee stop and while drinking Chai lattes I just do nothing else but drink and think...so thats where I got the idea for this poem.
