Corruption
Pouring waste into the once pure river,
Polluting the once fresh giving water
With a giving nature now turning dark.
Money can buy anything for a rich company.
But cannot afford the lives lost
Tossing hateful waste into the river
Granting those who rely
A chance of sweet death.
But to a large rich company the government doesn't mind an eye.
Powerful and "pure" more die.
Feed lies for the lives that pass,
People grow weary and tiresome
As crimson red stains the ground
It slowly drips into the lake
Purifying a small portion of the river.
The notice of a polluted river screams over the town
Grabbing their guns and torches
People riot and stomp up the hill to the cooperation
With only money to protect themselves from the people
The cooperation goes up in flames.
