There was a boy
Doomed from the start
Because he had
A paper heart

Ripped and torn
Crumbled and worn
Was the paper heart
That he bore

Paper covers rock
Scissors cut paper
Tried to fix it
But he just wasn't able

The tree it came from
The world will never really know
Because there is nobody
He is all alone

He now wants a love
Born anew
With a heart of glue
That his paper one can cling to.

Sometimes, we all feel a little bit like we have a paper heart. I hope this poem will help you to realize that paper doesn't always have to tear.
