my sonnet

My sonnet
People don't want us around each other
I told them I love you I really do
So sad to say not even my mother
I tried to let them know you love me to
I wouldn't do it I couldn't do it
I just can't give in to them forever
I fell down on my knees and threw a fit
I wanted to tell them never, never
I don't see why you just can't let us be
Painful tears began to fall from my eyes
Your tearing my heart apart cant you see
I know for a fact you could hear my cries
The separation broke my heart in two
Now you will never hear me speak to you
