Blind to Love
This is a story about a girl and a boy.
He fell in love with his best friend, when she’s around he feels nothing but joy.
She was already broken and it made her blind.
She could never believe that love would ever treat her right.
Did she know that he loved her or was she not aware?
She’s the smile on his face, he’s not going anywhere.
He’s there to make her happy, to see her smile.
He’s been wanting to tell her this for a long long time.
What’s going to make her fall in love?
He knows she’s got her walls wrapped all the way around her heart.
He can tell she’s afraid of what this might do.
They have such an amazing friendship that she doesn't want to lose.
He doesn't want to lose it either.
He can’t stand sitting around while she’s hurting.
He thinks she’s an angel who just forgot how to fly.
It breaks his heart every time to see her cry.
He hopes she will realize they should be together.
Through all the pain and hard times throughout their lives they were each other’s only constant.
She finally realized it one day, and it was perfect.
She realized how long he was there for her, waiting for her love.
They were married a year after they started dating.
On that day they were both glowing,
From the warmth of each other’s love.
Surrounded by everyone who cares about them they were officially united.
Now, he can truly say he’s loved her their whole lives.
