The Mother's Cry
Every mother is bound to cry
if they watch their children die.
Mother Earth is much the same
and she will kill who is to blame.
When the clouds claim the day,
her shining light fades to gray.
We see her tears fall as rain
but not the reason she is in pain.
As thunder shakes the world below, Mother's screams seem to grow.
We feel the earth beneath us shake
and almost see her heart break.
Just before we hear the scream,
it comes to life what was a dream.
Her shocking hand then reaches down.
Electric rage will makes us drown.
When the clouds begin to clear,
in our hearts still is the fear.
As we burn the world around,
she will drive us to the ground
