Seasons
By Lucas Bruggeman

Glistening snow blankets my life
All its hate and sorrow
All its pain and truth
It covers every trace of darkness
It shows the person
That I want to be. And it suffocates all the trees

Spring is a time of sorrow
Allergies show that truth
It shows that truth
It shows a tired and ill person
All because of the trees
It’s a diseased-filled season in life
We lose so many hours of darkness

Summer shows a free person
There are only miniscule traces of darkness
The trees
Do not bring me spring time sorrow
Of my spring allergy life
Summer is a season of life, in truths

Brownish leaves flow from the trees
Autumn holds a special place in life
Its leaves and wind do not bring me sorrow
It shows my true person
Autumn tells us the greatest truth
Pretty soon, we’ll be engulfed in darkness

Again. There is a fifth season in life
It’s between the white darkness
And Autumn’s beautiful trees
This can bring sorrow,
A gala person,
Or just another truth

Then comes the darkness of winter
Showing me. Full of sorrow
You can see my life if you look closely at the trees.

It's never to late, if it weren't for the last minute many things would never get done!

This poem is so cool. I love the way you describe how the trees are relate to your life. Great poem.
