All we do is tie
Raised to be very polite, the southern way,
to respect your elders and to treat women
with respect as well.
Raised to know what work really is and means.
Yet also finding time to play soccer, practice
shooting guns, and hunting,
All while watching out for your family.
Even your younger sisters.
You act like you don't love them even though
you know that you really do.
You love hanging out with people like you, and
having random conversations.
You find one that you trust with, with a lot of
things.
We try to see who is better at soccer but all
we do is tie,
See who is the strongest by rough housing and tie.
Who can do the most work on mission trips and we
are forced to take breaks some times,
Come up with the most violent plans.
We do all these things and we grow closer.
Few know what I think about you.
But if you think the same about me then tell me.
