She felt mangled
The air was too harsh, too rough for her
Falling fast, the ground approaching quicker
Everything was deteriorating
Unraveling before she can rebuild what she had left
She hit the ground with too much of an impact
It would take all she had to move on
But she couldn't let any wandering eyes gaze upon her like this
Terrorized and crumpled
An angel with broken wings
Streaming down her cheeks were the tears never shown
The sweet smile that never showed itself upon her swollen lips
It seemed terrible now
That she hid behind so many things during her life
Afraid to show what she was
She tried to shake her head but she could hardly move
Her whole body seemed to slowly drift away in a vanishing act
Black spots dotted her vision
Metallic smells drifted through her nose
To die like this
In the crunchy snow
Would almost be like escaping the life she had fought so hard not to live
But with the velvet sky and the dim stars above
She couldn't bring herself to disappear
