In the damp dark I see the glare
Come out and smell fresh air,
But is it safe, it feels so warm.
The sun is shining, warm and fair.

The dark was safe, during the storm
Now walls are mucky yet still warm.
But outside these walls don’t constrain,
Should I leave to avoid the swarm?

There goes the drip, the drip of rain,
One drop and I feel the fright train.
I need to get back to the mast
Before I feel this great disdain.

The world missed already so vast,
But the rain always comes in so fast,
Already though the storm has passed.
Already though the storm has passed.
