I Don't Really Remember
I don’t really remember the days when:
I had a father.
I can’t even remember his smell, but it probably was like cigars.
Was it something I did to make him not love me?
I had a father.
He left when I was one.
Was it something I did to make him not love me?
Is it something I did?
He left when I was one.
Just to know he is alive and doesn’t want me in his life, hurts as bad as getting stabbed.
Is it something I did?
Mom says it’s not my fault.
Just to know he is alive and doesn’t want me in his life, hurts as bad as getting stabbed.
It makes me feel awful.
Mom says it’s not my fault.
Who’s at fault?
It makes me feel awful.
But he isn’t very kind anyways.
Who’s at fault?
He is!
