Moments and Memories flood through my mind
Without a Warning, as if so inclined
As to Halt and Hold me here for a while;
Captivated by a gentle laughter and smile.
Scenes like a movie play themselves out in my head.
I remember loving you and the words that you said
When you told me, “Hold me, and don’t you ever let go.”
But now all that seems like an entire lifetime ago.
