Grandpas House
Hello sweety, give me a kiss,
Grandpa, why must my eyes begin to mist?
Turbos running on the floor,
his jackets still hang behind the door.
His coffee cup still golden brown,
I start to smile, but then I frown.
It was November I last saw him,
when he sang 16 candles and I dream of a cabin.
Grandpa I'll miss you till time stands still, but my heart will forever remain without fill.
You were a joy, a real good friend,
but God took you, cause your time was at end.
How can I mend my broken heart, when all around is your spirits art.
I love you grandpa, and always will, until the very day that time stands still.
