Your Faded Smell
We began with an ending
There isn’t other way around
I knew it was coming
So did you
Didn’t you feel it, inside you?
I did.
Something like gut feeling
I wanted to keep it simple
So did you
Using abstract terms, simple words
More like a simple good bye
No eye contact, No expression
Lips sharing a simple, dry kiss
Yea, it was a simple good bye
Don’t get me wrong
I had words to share
Thoughts to express
But, I got lost
In the Blur
Blur of unspoken words
Blur of confusion
Blur of guilt.
Don’t worry though
I wasn’t blank or numb
I felt it all
After all, it was a split second
Again don’t worry
In the end, this is just a good bye
Like we were meant to be
