Barry
Barry
He's the one that know one knew,
Probably because he never really grew,
His whole life he had odds to beat,
He proved people wrong not by talk, but with his feet.
No colleges would look at him, he stood 5' 8",
But what they didn't see was his determination to be great.
In his early high school he never got to start,
But his play was lethal like a poison dart.
With his moves and speed that no one could touch,
He always came through he was clutch.
But it ended to quick when he left to retire.
Nobody could live up to him, no matter who they would hire.
So you will not see him in the cold Detroit December,
But we thank you Barry cause you're one we'll always remember.
