Sunset
A fiery bright star of night
dips its toes into a gold lake of light
surrounded by wisps of clouds
whispering of beauty with sight but not sound
A love letter scrawled out in the sky
written by the Author of Life
a painting stroked with the brush of our Maker
painted by the only true Creator
Colors of joy, colors of peace
No mortal man could dye the sky pink
colors that whisper, colors that scream
No mortal man could create such a scene
