Your Hand
I am stuck with
A painful curse
And the pain only
Seems to get worse
With words we
Always fight
Through it all, I
Managed to see a light
In this darkness
It's me you've found
It's you who
Heard my sound
In you I stand
On solid ground
All those times
I fell
You were there
My guardian Angel
All this time you
Held out a hand
You are my solid
Rock on which I stand
To my path you
Give light
To my eyes you
Give me sight
Your truth sets
Me free
You have cleared my
Path of all debree
He makes
Everything new
His words are
Trustworthy and true
You will wipe every
Tear from every eye,
There will be no death
To mourn or cry
We have no pain
To weep
Death has no
Victory to keep
We sing praises
To our King
Death, you have
NO sting
You tell us to
Forget the past
For it does
Not last
We are alive because
Of you day to day
No one can undo
What you say
You chose me
As your kid
I have a joy that
Is not easily hid
In this life I have
Never been alone
Through your grace
Your love has been shown
You love me when
I was all wrong
You loved me
All along
You have given me
Something to believe
By my side you
Will never leave
Your life
Was sinless
Although mine isn't
You said yes
You're the one who
Paid the price
Your love isn't by
The luck of the dice
I didn't choose you
You chose me
By your grace, you
Have set me free
A wretch like
Me you sought
For my soul
You fought
You are conqueror
Of my sin
You don't care
Where I've been
To my chains
I was a slave
For me you
Conquered the grave
Your life you
Freely gave
In your word I
Can strongly stand
All I have to do
Is take your hand.

This is very true, with great rhythm. The poem itself was very heartlifting.
Isn't it wonderful to have one that you can put your faith in and who puts neverending faith in you? Thanks for writing this encouraging poem.
