The Beach
‘Twas a beautiful day,
(as I remember it so);
The waves of the beach,
Gently crashing to and fro.
The sunlight, it glistened,
Proposing a smile;
I listened, and laughed,
And gazed for a while.
I sat upon the shore,
My toes in the sand;
While peacefully hearing,
The gentle wave band.
And there went the birds,
So peacefully by;
They paused, only to rest,
Then continued on high.
The sun then went down,
And the moon I began to see;
As I laid upon the shore,
Pondering how tomorrow would be.
This will certify that the above work is completely original
