disguised entirely in black clothes,
the boys stole off into the night.
gravel crunched beneath their toes,
as they dashed past the streetlight.

by light of the moon,
they followed the tracks.
they would be there soon,
nothing will hold them back.

approaching the tower,
they stopped to admire
such an impossible feat,
they dared to aspire.

quickly and strongly,
they climbed up the ladder.
there was no turning back now,
or their dreams they would shatter.

together like brothers,
they defeated the tower.
standing on top,
they could feel its power.

this was it, they had certainly done it.
they sat above the city, but beneath the sky starlit.

and all just by half past eleven,
they had crashed the gates and stormed into heaven.
