Prejudice
A human.
A person.
A man,
A woman,
A child.
So much like us,
But seperated by a fence
Built with hatred,
Powered by fear.
Because if they're the same,
Then we should:
Share,
And be kind,
And realize that everyone
EVERYONE
Is different,
But that's what makes us special.
And most of all,
We are ALL equal.
Like how a child sees:
Not in black,
Or white,
Or any other color,
But as a friend,
Who deserves to be treated with respect,
And loyalty.
Like how God sees:
Not in black,
Or white,
Or any other color,
But as a sinner,
Lost and helpless,
Who needs help and guidance,
And love.
A human.
A person.
A man,
A woman,
A child.
So much like us,
Who despite the color of their skin
Or their hair,
Or their eyes.
Despite their language,
Or culture,
Or religion,
Have feelings.
To love,
And to hate.
To laugh,
And to cry.
To feel sorrow,
And joy.
But the are:
Mistreated,
Hated,
And despised,
Because they are different.
Who are we to pick and choose
Better or worse?
They are humans.
People.
Men,
Women,
and Children,
So much like us.
Who are hated simply because
Of some men's prejudice.
And the human desire for
Superiority.
