"Sadistically Romantic"
The raindrops from your eyes
Leave bruises on my skin.
They are feelings you tried to hide
That are overflowing from within.
The simple knowledge that you cry
And it's all because of my words
Is a power that makes me high,
That's keeping your screams unheard.
The taste of your liquid poison
Is somehow sweet on my tongue.
A wine that drowns out reason
Once the drinking has begun.
These droplets of your soul
Fall crystal, clear and steady -
A glimpse into your heart that I stole -
A sight that makes me heady.
It's a trial to lift a hand to your tears,
But I cannot simply walk on by,
Even though it's music to my ears,
I have to stop the ocean that you cry.
