Isolated
How did I end up here?
Quarantined from the rest of the world
As if I didn’t even deserve to think about it
No choice but to commit to the never-ending silence
Stuck with only my thoughts in boredom
Banished from everything I love to do
How did I find jail without doing a crime?
Muddled with constant questioning,
I realize I took being free for granted
Confined away from those whom I love
A punishment in disguise
I brainstorm ways to escape my fate
Only to find one solution
I am stuck
