The Man
I see him when I'm out driving late at night, hours before dawn
He’s under the street lamp, waiting.
Don’t hit him! Watch out!
But I don’t swerve,
And he fades away, out of line from my bright beams of light.
My mind fades back into an unconscious, melancholy state.
Content, but wait,
YOU’RE DRIVING!
