The Meadow
The bright sun is warming my skin
as I'm lying in the soft green grass.
One palm placed upon my chest and the other upon the earth
The flowers smell is sweet as they're opening up this morning
AS i lie there, listening to the stream, the blood leaves the two wounds in my chest.
The sun begins to fade
and the stream stops flowing
The scent of the flowers is no longer there and niether is the pain.
I take my last breath in this lovely meadow.
