No More Yesterday
Let it go before I go insane,
Start again and let it fly away,
Let the sun touch my face again,
And wipe away the tears of yesterday.
Look at stars, not at the dark,
That you see when you fight your dismay,
Tumbling, turning, in this endless night,
Forget the darkness of yesterday.
The sun is rising, slowly but surely,
Promising the arrival of a bright new day,
Forget those things that are now the past.
For there is no more yesterday.
