Pursuit of Happiness

Do we really think that we call our society one with the pursuit of happiness?
With poverty and depression lurking around every corner
No, we don’t have the pursuit of happiness
The courage to stand up and demand it is lost
Because no one wants to deal with the cost
We look for it
We find it
We lose it
We cherish it
But we can’t keep it
But why?
The pursuit of happiness is a lie
Hiding in different places
Invading different spaces
Pursuit of happiness
Do we really have it?
Maybe we should just quit.
