The Ocean, The Sand, And The Familiar Sea Breeze
The heels of my feet dug into the cold, damp sand
As the ocean surrounded my ankles for a few seconds
And then the ocean pulled back into itself and,
I discovered that my feet were deeper in than before.
I closed my eyes and let the wind whip my hair, every strand,
As I breathed in the saltiness of the familiar sea breeze,
And the papers threatened to escape from my hand,
As the active ocean wind comforted me.
