Just A Pen

What beauty, what ferocity, in just a pen!
The stroke of one line into words in just a pen.
Have we forgotten the wonder of
language;the power held in just a pen?
Stand in awe of the written word,
the stories relayed through ink and a pen.
The flow, like a river encased
in silver and color, just in a pen.
I marvel at the writer conveying
imagination and drawing vividly, with just a pen.

Paintbrushes are the tools of artists and pens are the tools of writers. Both create astounding images.
