Where We Found Her
She felt alone in good company,
Her aunt had raised her better,
Falling slightly she tripped in his way,
He had never seen the edge of things,
His vision blurred the tips into infinite blue,
The steeple point shows us and lures us into that story past,
The pews always remain stained clear with her screams,
Her blouse lay hidden upon those relics of God,
He fought back our boundaries to where we all hide,
I never knew a body to be so ugly,
Oak doors reflected his sweet intentions,
In that church so tall we sank so low,
"Hallelujah for cringing shoulders falling to the floor, Hallelujah for your cemetery dirt soaking in her favors,
Hallelujah," he sang, ripping her limb for limb.
