What if we are all dreaming? Like a Matrix sort of thing almost but more complex. What if what we think is reality is all in your mind. Science has shown that everyone dreams, and our dreams are so powerful that, at the time, they feel very real. They can produce very real feelings. They can make us sleep walk, cry, sweat, wet the bed, eat, drink, and even wake us with a very real panic and fear response. No one knows why we dream and what their purpose is. What if dreams are trying to inform us that, just like the dream itself, what we believe to be reality is not real at all. Like it's giving us hints. It is known that plants can communicate with each other. What if the reasons we have out of body experiences and wake up from sleep paralysis is because while we were alseep we came close to figuring it all out but we weren't ready to except it yet, which is why we wake up so frightened. Perhaps, even though our reality is a dream, we are all in the same place because we can also connect with one another. What if what we think is reality has already, in some ways, been planned. Which is why some people see future events when they dream. Because we are connected to everything and everyone else. And some people connect even after their supposed death, which explains why some people dream of the past and believe to have past lives, but what it really is is someones life who's signals just took longer to with someone. Like how light takes longer to get to us because it is so far away, but it gets to us eventually. And that twins sometimes dream the same thing because they are so closer connected in real life and not only what we think is real. Maybe our dreams serve the purpose of telling us that it is all an illusion. And perhaps in real life, some things are planned for us as well, which is why some people claim to be soul mates. None of us know what the meaning of life is, but maybe that is because this life isn't real. It is only prepping us to survive in the life we will one day wake up to. And the reason some people die or are killed before they die of old age is because they aren't needed when we wake up. Perhaps the reason some people are so in tune with this life, are so at peace, and find what they believe to be enlightenment, like Monks for example, is not because they have figured it out, but because that feeling of peace is really the realization that none of this is real and that is why they don't pay so much mind to the bad that seems to be all around us. Maybe if we figure out what the meaning of life is, we will wake up. Perhaps some of already have, which is why many believe in Gods and or Goddesses. When people fall into comas, we can hear the voices in the room. Maybe this fake reality is all just one big coma. That's why people claim to hear the voice(s) of God or Gods and Goddesses. Because what they really are is confusing and jumbled up messages from those who have figured it all out. I can't prove this theory, but it is interesting to think about. I hope I have opened your mind.

The author's comments:
I often have thought at night. I think of many things, and then every once in a while I decide to write it down. It isn't very organized. It's basically me rambling on about something on my mind. In this case, I thought it would be interesting to look at our life in a different way.
