Puppy problems

Claim: Young dogs are hard to train but also very fun.

Young dogs are a great joy for a family. They love to run which is perfect for kids and at night they sleep really good. They also don’t bark as much and when they do it is not as loud as larger dogs. The only down side to a young dog is training. They are easily distracted and they hate listening to you. Overall dogs can be a best friend for all ages.

Young dogs are amazing and fun, but they are a pain to train. There are many techniques to training dogs, such as, clicker training, trick training, and obedience training. The most important type though is potty training. All young dogs have to be potty trained but statistics show that small breeds have a harder time figuring it out than larger breeds. From ten weeks old to sexual maturity dogs have a “boundless curiosity, exasperating stubbornness, and enthusiastic affection,” this means that dogs don’t really care what you are saying, they just want to explore. They will gladly ignore you and runaway.

Young dogs are full of energy, they love to go for walks, or runs. A big yard with a fence is the best place for a young dog to be in. They can run out all of their energy with friends kids or even by themselves. If a dog has enough energy and the right toys it will play for hours. Research shows that the best toys for young dogs with growing teeth are, knotted rope bones, rubber tug toys and plastic bones. A young dog wants to chew everything so a plush or fleece toy with stuffing is not a good idea. You will come home to a cage full of fluff.

If you are a family that doesn’t feel complete and you’re thinking of getting a young dog then you might want to consider this. The study in 2011 shows that 56% of the us population owns a dog. Only 10% of the WORLDS population is allergic to dogs. Dogs are a great companion, they will follow you around and are always there to comfort you. They are a great snuggle buddy on stormy nights, and they are always happy. large breed dogs like the great dane might seem scary but are actually the most gentle breed of all, which make them great for kids. Smaller breeds have much more energy so jumping might be a little bit of a problem.

People might say that dogs are easy to train. They think that they know best. People may think that a dog will always listen. They think that since the dog is so young it will always pay attention to you for guidance. Also people can just bring their dogs to puppy class, but they have to pay for that. When people see their friends or families with puppies they think that they are all fun and easy but they don’t see the “behind the scenes action”. Those families might either be having a very tough time training their dog or they just bought him/her to puppy class. they have such a hard time because if a young dog is distracted they become an immovable boulder. Puppies pretty much live in their own world, they think they are always right. If you give them an inch they will take a mile, ok maybe not that much, but they will take advantage of you! Dogs will pee in your house, chew at your furniture, and eat your possessions. The dog thinks that is okay, that is why you need to train them.

Dogs are very hard to train but if you do it right they can still be your dream dog. Otherwise they are an indestructible four legged tornado. Dogs are loving, caring, and lots of fun. They are always there to comfort you and love you. If you were thinking about getting a dog consider this article and make the right decision.
