Saving Dexter
I can strongly relate to this article by Sophia Demir called “Saving Dexter.” When I was reading the article, I was getting flashbacks from when I got my dog. When I was looking at puppies to get, we were looking at a litter of 12 puppies. When I saw one of them I knew that I wanted that one. The same thing happened to the author of this article when she saw Dexter at the animal shelter she was at. It was an easy decision for the both of us. When she was at the animal shelter it was sad at the beginning. She was describing the animals and how depressed they all looked. Towards the end of the article it was happy because she did a great job describing how happy Dexter was when she took him home.
