Kuiper
Summary:
It had been almost a year that Kuiper had been living in absolute solitude. He had created around him a virtual paradise, his own home, his own garden, his own ocean, an entire single-sized planet was all for him to stay on and to hide from the world. But just as he finishes constructing his illusion of absolute safety, a ship lands on his asteroid, and the person inside has come to stay. The encounter could be one of two things: An invasion, or a rescue. Which one it will be, Kuiper has to decide. He will have to learn to live with this new stranger and find that she has a past not so different from his own, and while he makes what could be a new friend, he also finds that his old ones have begun leaving him behind.
(Also: Because I have been asked in the past, I'd like to say, for the record, Kuiper is pronounced KAI-per.)
