- What Matters
The pain hard to explain, but it hurts so much.
The sadness stuck in my body a shadow of darkness.
The loneliness, trapped alone in my own thoughts.
The heartbreaks, broken hearts but none repared.
The memories, can’t escape them but try to forget them.
The tears, rollling down my face full of sorrow.
The hopelessness, do I give up or just have a little hope.
The fear, seeing him will it happen again.
The dreams, give me no sleep just fear.
The flashbacks, feel so real yet there not.
The guilt, always with me part of it will forever be my fault.
The people, could be any stranger but fearful when close.
The helpers, people help but I feel so selfish so I try to reject it.
So difficult but I have to push through it.
Life so hard, yet so precious.
The life, the life so precious.
